This 1.5 hour session will cover Microbiology Challenges to Consider When Processing Flexible Endoscopes and will be led by Delores O’Connell, LPN, BA, AGTS, ASQ-CQIA, CHL, CER, CIS, Clinical Education Specialist, STERIS University. Session objectives include:
- Describing microbiology challenges related to flexible endoscope processing
- Recognizing processing errors that could lead to infection and implementing strategies to mitigate them.

CASCA'S Annual Conference and Trade Show offers facility administrators and staff opportunities to learn and connect with peers, colleagues and vendors across the ASC industry. Experts from the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment, Ambulatory Surgery Center Association and other organizations will lead conversations around the issues most prescient in the Colorado ASC community.
