This 1.5 hour session will cover Microbiology Challenges to Consider When Processing Flexible Endoscopes and will be led by Delores O’Connell, LPN, BA, AGTS, ASQ-CQIA, CHL, CER, CIS, Clinical Education Specialist, STERIS University. Session objectives include:
- Describing microbiology challenges related to flexible endoscope processing
- Recognizing processing errors that could lead to infection and implementing strategies to mitigate them.
